September 13th - My Mummy's birthday

It has been a challenging year and particularly Summer for a raft of reason and on a personal (and often emotional) level as well as physically and spiritually. My Mummy has been an ever faithful supporter, voice of wisdom, gentle but firm in her encouragement, a wondeful granny, an always available ear, company secretary to my latest venture and probably my biggest fan. I love you Mum and know that no matter what happens you will always be there for me. I only hope that I can follow your footsteps and that one day my daughters want to write the same things about me. Massive virtual hugs to you on your birthday. Love Charlotte

Rebirth for 2013 As we arrive at the end of this challenging year we can all be responsible for small and major changes in the universe around us. As we decide to change and vibrate differently in our own lives and in our interactions with those around us. Despite the global challenges and the foreboding messages that we have been approaching the end of the world, the world we live in is still an amazingly beautiful place. We can choose to stay in the dogma and negativity of the media and the general mélé of the world or we can choose to take this « end » as a new begginning, one where each and every one of us can live life to the full, with just a little more love and gratitude, with just a touch more lightness, with loving kindness emitting from the heart. Its the year of the horse…..

2014 and galloping It has been a while since I penned a yogic mummy text but I have not been static. Life has moved into a pace I can only call frantic and the days are getting longer and nights shorter – ie I am eating into the night time hours to catch up on things I just have not been able to cram into the spaces of time I have. Life has changed rather radically as I moved out familiar surroundings and into a new home, as I started to share my children’s time with my husband and we both got used to being apart after 14 years together, as the Winter season has kicked in a pace with new students, rooms, time schedules and as all sorts of new projects get under way…… But despite all the change, late nights, tiring days there a few amazing and beautiful things that are surfacing and that make me realise a) I have made totally the right decision to act on the deepest truths within me and b) that I am extremely lucky to have the life I have.
